I'm actively working on this website that will serve as my outlet, diary, workout log, basically everything that I do that I feel like sharing. My very own social space on the internet that is not owned by some billionaire somewhere.
Topics that are important to me these days (not ordered):
- I try to (re)organize my MP3/Flac-Music Collection with beets ( Link) and serve it with navidrome as my own personal spotfiy.
- dealing with depression. now and forever.
- walking a lot ( more)
- I lastly built a Terminal Navidrome Client for my streaming Musiclibrary. So I can stream it to my PowerMac G5. You can find it here on Github and read about it here on Apfelhammer.de.
- I cycle a lot, I bought a new Bike from Canyon, you can see it here.
- I need to start running again. I hate running, but it is time-effective. One hour, 10 Km, done. :) No run in 2026 so far,
- I built webmention support for a) writefreely and for b) ghost cms.
- I try to reduce my own technological footprint. Selfhosting and the use of single board computers rather than the cloud, laptops and desktops. (There are homes in my home now for janmontag.de, apfelhammer.de and my Navidrome and much more)
- Critical view to consumerism.
- Eating more healthy. At least I try every day.
- Digital detoxing everytime it is possible. First from Social Media.
- Doing selfhosting as a big fun and a lot of space for improvements.
- Doing sports, running roadbike, going jogging - enjoy movement.
